Hello My Name Is...
Lola D. Curtis
This is my second year at DCS teaching 7th and 8th grade students science. Seventh grade covers life science and 8th grade covers Earth science. I am excited about the 2016-2017 school year!
A bit about me:
I grew up in Michigan. I have also lived in Idaho and Arizona. I lived at the Grand Canyon for 3 months and then in Flagstaff. I moved to New Orleans in 1984 and am a Hurricane Katrina transplant to Monroe. The other career that I have had and truly loved was zookeeping. Rhinos and bats were two of my favorites but I have worked with 700+ species. I bring a lot of life experience to teaching your beloved children! I was happily married but now I am a widow, no children, so your kids are the only ones I have to love!
