The Louisiana Department of Education recently launched a new literacy tutoring program called the Steve Carter Literacy Tutoring Program. The program will provide eligible K-5 public school students an opportunity to receive additional support by providing $1,000 digital vouchers to be used to schedule online and in-person literacy tutoring with state-approved tutors.
DCS has identified eligible students for the 2023-2024 school year and will provide qualifying families and eligible students with information at the Parent Teacher Conference. We look forward to seeing you there on October 25.
