Spirit Week Details
Spirit Days - Be sure to wear your uniform bottoms and adhere to the dress code.
Monday – Magnolia Monday (anything Louisiana-themed)
Tuesday – Tumbleweed Tuesday (anything Western)
Wednesday – Where Dreams Come True (anything Disney)
Thursday – Big Apple Tacky Tourist (anything New York/tourist look)
Friday – Swamp Color Wars – (Either all orange or all blue)
Grades 11th, 9th, 7th, 5th, 3rd, 1st –-wear blue
Grades 12th, 10th, 8th, 6th, 4th, 2nd, and K -- wear orange
Homecoming Shirts
Shirts are $15 each for sizes up to XL, $18 for XXL, and $20 for XXXL. Money is due by Friday, September 23rd to Kristie Penick (Building G, room 8) or give to homeroom teachers. (See attached form for a t-shirt order form.)
Homecoming Bonfire
When: Thursday, October 13 @ 6:00 PM. Court presented at 6:30 PM
Where: DCS Tailgate area
Cost: $5 per person (pre-sale tickets will be available)

Homecoming Parade
When: Friday, October 14 @ 4 PM – Float judging will be at 3:30 PM.
The route will start at the DCS student parking lot, go through Delhi on Broadway St., and end at West Brothers parking lot.
Float themes: Seniors – Disney, Juniors – Western, Sophomores – Louisiana, and Freshman – Big Apple
Homecoming Game in the Swamp
When: Friday, October 14 @ 7 PM – Pregame starting at 6:15 PM
Where: Brett Raley Football Field
Opponent: Tensas
Presentation of Court: Halftime
Homecoming High School Dance
When: Saturday, October 15 @ 7-10 pm (for grades 9-12)
Where: DCS Amber Hall **Featuring DJ Cam**
Cost: $15 couple / $10 single
