Greetings Gator Family.
It is with great sadness that we announce a loss to our Swamp Family. On Sunday, Marcus Carter passed away. Marcus graduated with the class of 2024, where he was a model student, standout athlete, and well respected by his peers and the DCS faculty for his respectful, kind, and humble demeanor.
Tomorrow (Wednesday July 31st) we will celebrate the life of Marcus Carter with a balloon release at 2 pm to be held at Delhi Charter School on the track of the Stuart Scurria Sports Complex. Funeral and Visitation arrangements will be announced at a later time.
Many of us are having a difficult time dealing with Marcus' death.
Along with some pictures of Marcus, also attached is a flyer with some community resources that can be utilized if need be.
Please continue to pray for his parents, siblings, extended family, friends, teammates, teachers, and coaches. Marcus was loved by all and will be missed tremendously.

SR BETA NEWS!
Last week, a group of dedicated and passionate students from DCS had the opportunity to compete at the Senior Beta National Convention, which took the place in Savannah, GA. This convention brings together the top students from across the country to compete in a wide range of academic and artistic competitions.
The students from our school trained tirelessly in preparation for national competition. They had to place at the state level in the top five to qualify for nationals.
We are so proud of the DCS Senior Beta and their dedication and perseverance. They represented our school well!
We would also like to thank the sponsors that made our national competition possible.
The logo embroidery is no longer required on school bottoms. Only school polos and outwear (jackets, sweatshirts, etc.)
Sorry for the confusion.
